Three letters of Ghazi Muhammad the president of Kurdistan republic to Mir Jaffar Baghirov the leader of Azebaijan Communist Party

Mir Jaffar Baghirov the Azebaijani leader

The following letters are published by Mr. Amir Ali Lahrudi in his book " Yadmandeha we Mulahezeha ( neshr-e Fergheye Demokrat-e Azerbaijan) " - Memories and observations-the book is written in persian and is published by Nurlan Metbasi in Baku in 2007.
The letters are written in Azerbaijani Turkish language, two of them without any date.Unfortunately they are not translated correctly in the book.
The first letter is a request for further military assistance. The second letter which is written after the evacuation of Red Army from Iran (May 1946)stresses the detemination of Kurdistan and Azebaijan movements in continuing their struggle and conveys the wishes of the people not to be abodoned by the Soviets. In the letter president Ghazi Muhammad expresses his astonishment of recalling " Salahadin Isazadeh " by Azebaijani authorities from Mahabad, and demands he will be reinstated in his position. Salahedin Isazadeh ( Kazemov) was a military
advisor to Kurdistan republic and a Soviet hero. He was killed in an incidet in Baku in 1972.
The third letter which is a request for closer attentions to a few Kurdish students attending Azebaijani schools in Baku. Judging by documents of Kurdistan republic it is highly probable that the letter is written in late august 1946.
The first letter is written on Kurdistan's ministry of armed forces official paper. They all are handwritten. The authenticity of signatory of President Ghazi is sanctioned by documents published in other sources.
We attach President Ghazi Muhammad and Mir Jaffar Baghirov's images to these documents
